My name is Jerry Chen and I am glad you came by!

I am a former rocket-scientist (literally) turned professional marketer.

I have 7 years of experience in the Network Marketing industry (4 years online).

I've been successful in two different network marketing businesses (now on 2nd business opportunity ever... opportunity-hopping isn't my thing), and have been earning full-time income in network marketing, affiliate marketing and info marketing (including marketing my own products and services) for 4 years.

Teaching, coaching, mentoring and training is my passion, thus my specialty....

As you have probably already noticed, this website contains a wide range of information regarding the home business industry, with a heavy focus on network marketing.

Strategies, tips, even some little-known secrets regarding

  • online marketing
  • offline marketing
  • leadership and personal development
  • product and company reviews

Here is what I WHOLEHEARTEDLY believe in:

As an industry it’s time we get away from this foolish debate of "Online vs. Offline" | "New-school" vs. "Old-school", and unite as one to not only help raise the overall image of the industry, but to help more people because there are folks out there seriously hurting financially (which leads to other challenges) and we have the solution!

Alright... I don't want to stand on a soap box and launch into a full-on lecture.

Here's a little bit about me...

I came to the US from the tiny island of Taiwan at the age of 16 as a broke immigrant barely speaking 2nd grade level English...

It was a constant struggle.

I remember not knowing how to pronounce the food I wanted to order at restaurants, fell just short of ruining my bladder because I was too embarrassed to ask where the restroom was with my broken English and terrible accent.

(Alright... maybe you didn't' have to know that.)

Going against the odds, I graduate in the top 1% of my high school class and worked feverishly to master the English language.

I eventually earned a degree from UC Berkeley and a professional certification from California Institute of Technology (Cal Tech) in Engineering.  I know a thing or two about working hard and attribute whatever accomplishments I may have in business to my high school and college years as a young immigrant trying to survive in a challenging environment.

The journey to gaining confidence and living a life in a new country taught him two important lessons to network marketing success:

  1. No one in this world succeeds without help from others
  2. Learning and applying knowledge exactly as instructed yields the same results almost ALL of the time

How I discovered network marketing and Internet marketing... (and I'm truly curious about how YOU discovered it!)

In 2004, while starting out in as an aerospace engineer, I was approached by a complete stranger about an 'opportunity' and began my journey into the world of network marketing.  I did my due diligence researching extensively for 2 weeks, about 3 hours each day, and even went so far to call the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), not once, but twice... to make sure that I was getting into a legitimate business.

After 2 years of studying and applying the knowledge I learned from my uplines, I had the good fortune to personally become very proficient at building communities of people, using ONLY old-school methods...

I rushed out of the gate thinking that it was going to be cake-walk... talking to friends & family, meeting new people within 3-foot of me, writing down the list of 100... the works.

I sponsored a whopping ZERO people in my business in that first year...

And then I learned that it wasn't my techniques but my posture and attitude that caused me to fail.

From year #2 moving forward, I started sponsoring people, making sales to retail clients and ended up making decent money, but it was so much like a second JOB.

Upon reaching the top of the compensation schedule of my company at the time, the very challenge of not being able to 'duplicate' myself FRUSTRATED the heck out of me, and none of my uplines had better strategies... so I turned to the Internet searching for some answers.  I bought a couple of the top selling "attraction marketing" ebooks, and the rest, as they say, is history.

In the beginning though, just like how I started as a newbie in the industry, was pretty rough as I didn't know really how to piece it all together using online strategies and technologies.

But within the first 60 days, I started generating leads for the first time in my life!

Eventually I amassed a list of over 15,000 people with over 2,000 of which becoming customers of my primary business at the time.

I now devote my attention to helping those that are willing learn skills that will sustain them financially through any business opportunity.

These skills have been gained through my personal investment of over $30,000 on education, successful (and not-so-successful, in some cases) implementation and hundreds upon hundreds of hours of brainstorming and strategizing.

I encourage you to subscribe to this newsletter and watch out for future communications from me.  Not only will you learn from me but also from my mentors and fellow industry leaders (this is not a one-man-show... and I'm very much anti-guru, by the way) about creating wealth while having a life.

My message is about living life fully through wealth creation and having a balance.  It's not just about the mighty dollar (which is rapidly collapsing as we speak, by the way...).

I look forward to connecting with you!

Hello Jerry! Thanks for connecting with me. Over the weekend, I had some downtime and write a song on network marketing with the Blame It melody. (To be honest, I wrote the song a while back and made the video yesterday without knowing that today is the most depressing day of the year, haha) Many marketers find all kinds of reasons why they’re failing in their business. This is my message to them… P.S. Pardon my raspy voice. I know I’m a terrible singer.

Jerry, thank you so much for adding me! I am new here and excited to think I might be able to help others--this is the first MLM community I've seen that states that intention right up front as people join. Your history is impressive and I suspect you could be dropped off in the middle of nowhere and rise, like cream, to the top. It is an honor to have the opportunity to learn from you. Best wishes...Dee
